Subscriptions without a device payment plan:
If you opt for any of these providers: M-Budget, Salt, Wingo or Yallo, the discount amount depends on the subscription and the device you order. The discount is also dependent on the exact model (memory size, colour, etc.) and usually changes monthly.
More expensive and longer subscriptions usually mean you get a bigger discount on the sales price of the device. Providers decide how big a discount you get on mobile phones with subscriptions.
Subscriptions with a device payment plan:
If you’re with Sunrise, Swisscom or UPC, these providers pre-finance the cost of the device. You then pay for the device in 12 or 24 monthly instalments directly to the provider at the same time as you pay for your subscription.
If your device is pre-financed, the provider will run a credit check on you and can in some cases ask for a down payment. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the credit check or its outcome.
